We approach Sauvignon Blanc with the same philosophy that defines every wine at Ninth Acre—precision, restraint, and a disciplined respect for place. Sourced from the Sonoma Coast, the wine is shaped by cold marine influence, extended ripening, and a focus on preserving tension, energy, and natural freshness. Farming and cellar decisions are intentionally restrained, allowing texture, minerality, and aromatic clarity to emerge without excess. The result is a Sauvignon Blanc built not around overt style, but around purity, structure, and the distinct character of the vintage and vineyard.
Ninth Acre Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted in pursuit of depth, precision, and timeless Napa Valley structure. Built from meticulously selected vineyard sites, the wine emphasizes concentration without heaviness and power without excess. The goal is not simply intensity, but refinement — a Cabernet that feels architectural, age-worthy, and unmistakably rooted in place.
The 2024 vintage in Napa Valley produced wines of exceptional concentration, structure, and freshness. Significant winter rainfall replenished soil moisture across the valley following several dry vintages, establishing healthy vine balance and consistent canopy development early in the season.
Summer brought prolonged warmth and nearly forty days above 100°F throughout Napa Valley, dramatically reducing yields while intensifying concentration and tannin structure across the region. Despite the season’s intensity, moderate late-season conditions and cool nighttime temperatures preserved freshness, aromatic lift, and structural precision within the fruit.
Oakville vineyard blocks contributed density, dark-fruited depth, and polished tannin architecture. Rutherford parcels introduced savory earth tones, tobacco, and the mineral tension characteristic of the appellation’s gravelly soils. Elevated upper-range sites provided structural backbone, graphite minerality, and remarkable natural acidity despite the year’s warmth.
The resulting wine possesses both immediate depth and extraordinary long-term aging potential.
