From the beginning, our focus has been on seeking out remarkable vineyard sources and working only with fruit that meets our standards for character, complexity, and age-worthiness. Production remains intentionally limited, allowing every decision to be guided by quality rather than scale.
The name Ninth Acre reflects a philosophy of going beyond what is expected—the pursuit of something just out of reach, and the discipline required to attain it. That philosophy shapes every aspect of the winery, from vineyard selection to hospitality.
Napa Valley has always been more than a place to us. It is where we built a life together—where we became engaged, were married, and developed a lasting appreciation for the land and the people who steward it. Our connection inspires Ninth Acre and continues to guide its purpose: producing wines of distinction that honor the vineyards they come from and creating meaningful experiences for those who share them.
